(Harare, Transport Industry) - Our client is looking for a Buyer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for purchasing any items required for use by the company. Negotiating with suppliers to get the best deals and organizing payments for any purchased items. Ensuring all suppliers in the database are reputable people and making sure all goods received come with a proper VAT invoice. Liaising with stores controllers on minimum and maximum stock levels for spares. Ensure correct pricing of all items in stock. Production of daily, weekly or monthly procurement and stock usage reports. Ensuring that all company assets, tools and vehicles used by stores are properly looked after and serviced as and when they are due for servicing
Qualifications: A diploma in stores and purchasing management, class 4 driver’s license and at least 2 years of experience. A generous salary package is offered to the right candidate.
