Call for Consultancy for the development of a Virtual Social Media Chat Bot: Youth Forum Zimbabwe (YFZ) Deadline: 19 February 2021 Introduction Youth Forum Zimbabwe (YFZ) is a non-profit making organization that was formed in August 2004 and registered under the Zimbabwe Youth Council Act in October of the same year as a response to the social exclusion of youth in political processes in Zimbabwe. It was also registered with the high court of Zimbabwe as a trust. YFZ is a membership-based, mandate-driven organization, led by and for the young people in Zimbabwe.
Scope of work YFZ is looking for a consultant to develop a Social Media Virtual Chatbot with a dedicated mobile number to help the youth with information related to transparency and accountability issues for them to be able to report cases of corruption in their local communities. The Chatbot will be named ‘Shingayi’ which means ‘Don’t be Afraid’ in English. Shingayi should provide transparency and accountability related information to young people to help embolden them to be part of the anti- corruption drive and report corruption matters without fear. The bot should be able respond to enquiries from the youth virtually.
