Position Summary:
CNFA is currently seeking a Collaboration, Learning and Adapting (CLA) Lead to support its Development Food Security Activity in Zimbabwe. The position will be based in Zimbabwe.   The CLA Lead will work closely with all staff, including the food security, nutrition, and monitoring and evaluation teams to ensure collaboration and learning with other activities in the applicant’s selected implementation area. 
Duties and Responsibilities:
Work with external stakeholders including host country government, international donors, multilateral organizations, and the private sector;
Ensure the activity includes active, intentional, and adaptive learning within and across interventions;
Have a critical role in incorporating refinement activities and learning into implementation;
Improve peer-to-peer learning, knowledge sharing and application, activity-based capacity strengthening, and evidence and data utilization in support of adaptive management both within and beyond initial refinement;
Ensure that adaptive learning is use within and across all the project’s multi-sectoral interventions;
Ensure appropriate and continued coordination and joint-planning with other USAID and other donor activities (specifically the USAID food security and resilience portfolio), host-government initiatives, and private sector engagement;
Implement diverse and adaptive knowledge sharing activities within and outside of the project;
Improve knowledge sharing and applications and strengthen activity-based capacity;
Provide strategic leadership of collaborating, learning, and adaptation effor

Work/Educational Requirements

Key Qualification:
Master's or PhD degree in related field highly preferred plus a minimum of (3) three years relevant work experience; or
Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of (5) five years relevant experience is required;
A minimum of three (3) years of experience in the integration of CLA into field programming is required, experience conducting such programming in Zimbabwe or similar country context is strongly preferred;
Experience collaborating with a variety of external stakeholders including the host country government, international donors, and private sector;
Experience developing and applying resources to create, capture, organize, and share knowledge across technical sectors;
Experience with intentional and adaptive learning across multi-sectoral activities with multiple donors and private investors;
Experience facilitating peer-to-peer learning, knowledge sharing and application, activity-based capacity strengthening, evidence and data utilization, and CLA;
Demonstrated knowledge of agricultural, livelihoods, and/or food security programming preferred;
Demonstrated experience in establishing and managing dynamic feedback systems to capture experiential learning and unintended consequences;
Demonstrated experience fostering collaboration across teams or organizations is required;
Experience with international donor projects, especially USAID and Food for Peace, preferred;
Strong English ability required, knowledge of local languages preferred but not required
