Duties and Responsibilities To provide ICT-enabled communications, information sharing and networking support to the organisation; To promote the visibility of the organisation’s profile and work; To coordinate the development of the organisation’s communications strategy for increased visibility and impact; To write and support members in writing media advisories, press releases, backgrounders, and letters to the editor, opinion articles and pitches these materials to the targeted audiences; To coordinate responses to media requests, write and coordinate the production of the organisation’s communication materials; To edit, proofread and publish the organisation’s publications, including reports, booklets, information sheets, Q&A documents and briefing papers; To manage, design and update the organisation’s online platforms .
Person specifications A degree or diploma in journalism/ mass communication; A strong command of the English language; Experience and capacity to use online platforms for development work
