Allied Timbers Zimbabwe (Pvt) Ltd administers the largest commercial forestry plantations in Zimbabwe. The successful incumbent will report directly to the Chief Finance Officer. PURPOSE OF THE JOB Responsible for playing a key role in the formulation and Implementation of the company's financial strategies. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Maintenance of Accounting records 2. Management Accounting and Reporting 3. Financial and Statutory Reporting 4. Budgeting and Budgetary Control 5. Maintenance of a strong internal control environment within the company and ensuring that this is periodically reviewed and aligned to any changes in the business environment with a view to safeguarding company assets. 6. Treasury Management 7. Regulatory Compliance —ZIMRA, NSSA, CompaniesAct etc. 8. Administration
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE o Excellent ICT skills o In-deptn knowledge of ERP systems o Excellent presentation skills o Very analytical MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS o First Degree in Accounting or equivalent o ACCA/CIMA/CIS or equivalent EXPERIENCE o Five years' relevant experience at managerial level. o Articles of Clerkship and knowledge of CaseWare an added advantage. o Demonstrable experience in statutory and management reporting in a manufacturing environmenta must.
