Duty Station: Head office
Duration: 8 months

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

HR: Develop and maintain a human resources system that meets management needs; Recruitment of project personnel; Review and development of personnel policies; Maintain records of leave applications, staff appraisals and staff development; Identify legal requirement and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures and reports are compliant; Plan and conduct new employee orientation to foster positive attitude to organizational, goals; Represent the organization at personnel related hearings and investigations; Maintain records of benefits, plans participation such as insurance and pension plans; Coordinate management training in interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance review and sexual harassment; Advise management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues; Prepare employees separation notices and related documentation

Administration: Monitor and maintain office equipment and inventory supplies orders replacement supplies as needed; To coordinate the procurement of programme supplies; Maintain an assets register for the organizations assets; Create, maintain and update records and data basses; Updating organizational policies and procedures; Coordinate building and maintenance issues for general repair; Negotiate office leases rentals for district and provincial offices; Fleet management; Preparing scheduled service intervals for motor vehicles and motor bikes; Investigate accidents and prepare reports for insurance provider; To supervise junior staff and any other duties as may be delegated from time to time

Work/Educational Requirements

Qualifications
Degree diploma in Human resources management / business administration and two years related experience in an NGO setting; The candidate must be able to prioritize and plan work activities as to use time effectively; Must be organized accurate, through and able to monitor work for quality; Must be dependable, able to follow instructions, respond to management direction.
