The Company invites suitably qualified and motivated candidates to apply for the following vacant positions:

2. LOSS CONTROL MANAGER (Operations and Investigations) 
Reporting to the General Manager: Loss Control 
Key Responsibilities • Identifies system weaknesses and security failures and recommend immediate action to the General Manager: Loss Control, • Provides support to the organisation's technical and non-technical losses mitigation strategies, • Drafts and implements policies, procedures and plans to ensure protection and preservation of company assets, • Establishes and maintains close liaison with the technical and intelligence units on how to curb leakages, • Ensures effective deployment of security staff at all National Key points, bulk supply points, Transmission and Distribution substations as well as administration establishments, • Manages investigation of all cases, all risk bearing activities and ensures all culprits are brought to book, • Manages outsourcing and deployment of security services at all key establishments and installations, • Manages all security surveys to ensure systems are up to date and maintains pace with environmental and technological changes, • Researches and recommends deployment of appropriate electronic surveillance systems to protect electricity  infrastructure, • Undertakes human capital development to ensure staff receive appropriate skills, • Implements cost control measures and promotes 
compliance to division's budget, • Liaises with complimentary arms of Government to manage crimes related to the Electricity Act chapter 13:19 as well as Security clearance with GPSI

Work/Educational Requirements

Qualifications and Experience • A degree in Police Studies/Risk Management and Insurance/Security Management, Criminology or equivalent • A Post Graduate Qualification such as an MBLJMBA or equivalent • Membership of a recognised professional institution • 8 years relevant experience of which 5 years should be at senior level in a reputable organisation • Clean class four driver's license 
Job Skills and Competencies • A person of unquestionable integrity • Ability to work under pressure and long hours • A team player • Excellent communication skills • Knowledge of criminal law is a must • Proven experience in the uniformed forces or as a private investigator. • Proficiency in computer operations and packages
