Applications are invited from highly competent and qualified persons to fill the following position that has arisen in Zimbabwe Posts (Pvt) Limited hereinafter referred to as Zimpost. 
The Managing Director would be responsible for crafting and implementing the overall business strategy to ensure success of the business, covering business viability, balance sheet growth and the following; 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Manage the business to ensure strict adherence to internal and external reporting requirements. • Forge and maintain relations of trust with shareholders, partners and external authorities. • Ensure that requisite structures, systems and procedures are in place to drive agreed strategies. • Develop strategic plans and budgets for the organisation. • Craft, for board approval, policies that ensure that standards and guidelines are in place. • Ensure that all contracts entered into are in the best interest of Zimpost. • Regular and systematic appraisal of direct reports so that performance is in line with key deliverables as defined by the Board. • Inspire, motivate and direct the Zimpost team for the attainment of corporate and individual goals. • Maintaining a dialogue between shareholders and the board. • Control and managing the company finances. • Create complete business plans for the attainment of goals and objectives set by the board of directors. • Build an effective team of leaders byproviding guidance and coaching to subordinate managers. • Communicate company reports and achievements to board, shareholders, and business partners. 

Work/Educational Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE • First degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Strategic Management, or equivalent. • A Master's degree in Business Administration. • Minimum of ten years' experience at senior managementlevel 5 of which must be at Director or equivalent level. • Professional qualifications in Marketing, Strategic Management or Business leadership. • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel). • Proven experience as executive director or in other managerial position. • Experience in developing strategies and plans. • Ability to apply successful revenue generation and networking techniques. • Strong understanding of corporate finance and measures of performance. • In depth knowledge of corporate governance principles and managerial best practices. • Strong and outstanding leadership skills. • Good financial management skills. • Strategic planning and management skills. • Good tact, diplomacy and negotiating skills • Good grasp of contemporarybusiness issues. • Critical thinking, innovative skills and ability to challenge convention
