CITY OF GWERU Vacancy Notice POSITION: PHARMACY TECHNICIAN GRADE 9 DEPARTMENT: HEALTH SERVICES REPORTING TO: ASSISTANT DIRECTOR CLINICAL SERVICES Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the above mentioned position which has become vacant in the Health Services Department. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Stock Management - Compiling list of expired drugs and proper disposal - Assisting on Drug Rational Use - Training of staff in Drug Management - Assisting on Emergency Preparedness - Supporting the implementation of a comprehensive HIV/AIDS program
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE A successful candidate should have the following qualifications and experience - Pharmacy Technician Diploma - Registration Certificate with Pharmacist Council of Zimbabwe - Current Valid Practising Certificate - 3 years post qualifications experience - Computer literacy - Experience in Medicines Management or Stock Control. PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES - Good communication skills - Ability to work under pressure - Upholding ethical principles and professionalism - Excellent knowledge in drug management systems at primary health level.
