MINIMUM QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE • A minimum of a Higher National Diploma in Purchasing and Supply management from a reputable institution. • A Degree in Purchasing and Supply will bean added advantage. • Must have at least 2 years experience in a Public sector Environment • Aged between 25 and 40 years • Must be computer literate • Clean class 4 driver's licence will bean added advantage. • Must have a working knowledge of the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act (Chapter 22:13) Duties and Responsibilities • Preparation of procurement plans, reports and procurement returns • Overseeing the proc urement of Goods, Services and Works of Council in accordance with procurement regulations. • Preparation of bidding documents and managing procurement contracts • Providing advice to the Accounting Officer and Procurement Management Unit on procurement matters • Keeping a record of all procurement proceed ings and related matters • Completing monthly procurement returns and submitting the same to PRAZ. • Preparation of Bidding Documents • Review of tender documents in line with Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act and procurement regulations.
