CARE International in Zimbabwe is recruiting for an anticipated emergency response project targeting Mwenezi district. Job summary
The Project Field Assistants will be responsible for facilitating the implementation of the Emergency Cash Transfer Response project in line with project objectives at District level.

Key duties and responsibilities
Plans weekly, monthly and quarterly project activities; Conducts community stakeholder leadership orientation and sensitisation meetings; Conducts community mobilisation and sensitisation meetings; Conducts process monitoring at community level on cash transfers, gender and compliance issues, market and Mobile Money Agent activities; Conducts Social Analysis and Action(SAA) in targeted wards; Tracks market indicators and performance of Mobile Money Agents in operational area; Supports Monitoring & Evaluation surveys; Coordinates community participation and stakeholder relations at community level; Facilitates collaboration with stakeholders, such as Eco cash Agents, Retailers and Traditional leaders; Prepares and submits reports to the Project Manager; Ensures that IASC core principles and Safeguarding standards are met and maintained accordingly.

Work/Educational Requirements

•    Diploma in Development Studies/Social Sciences/Emergency Response or equivalent
•    2 years’ experience in community based programs or related 
•    Experience with emergency response programming
•    Hands on experience with cash transfers
•    Experience working in a communal environment and working with rural communities

Additional Information
•    Ability and willingness to ride a motorcycle
•    Class 3 drivers license would be an added advantage
