Deadline: 10 February 2020 Youth Forum Zimbabwe and Southern African Youth Solidarity Network (SAYSN) launches a regional cartoon design competition. The contest seeks to stimulate the importance of detecting and reporting corruption at regional level. The cartoon contest is a way to engage Africa’s youth and provide them with a platform to share their views-and-solutions on corruption in the region and how it can be combatted. The 2020 Cartoon Contest focusses on corruption in the SADC region. Eligibility Requirements The size of the works should be smaller than 297mm x 240mm; Any color, freestyle and unlimited items (more than 3); Each entrant should provide a title, name, age, address, career, e-mail and telephone number on the reverse.
Entry requirements The competition is free to enter by young people aged 18-35 residing in the participating SADC countries namely South Africa, Zambia, Eswatini and Zimbabwe Prize Three best creative cartoons will win prizes. Criteria The winning cartoon submission will be selected based on the following criteria: originality, clarity in presentation, convincing and impactful nature of the designed cartoon. Copyright The winning cartoons may be used for promotional purposes: cards, posters, catalogues, newspapers, magazine, and books by the promoters.
