Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons for the position of Sales Manager for a hotel based in Victoria Falls. The following are essential pre-requisites for the incumbents: Responsibilities: ? Ensure setting and attainment of the Hotel Targets through activating, implementing, monitoring and directing Sales initiatives for the Hotels. ? Spearhead the crafting of the Hotels' Sales and Marketing Plans. ? Initiating and managing beneficial partnerships to ensure competitive advantage, including construction of appropriate sales packages. ? Work closely with the Sales and Marketing Committee in reviewing and implementation of hotel prices. ? Devise new ways to expand that client base and these strategies must be geared to grow local and foreign business. ? Ensure that relationships with key existing and new accounts are well maintained to help grow incremental business. ? Coordinate the production/initiation and submission of weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports. ? Participate in formulation, implementation and monitoring of the Unit budgeted occupancies. ii Education: ? 3-year degree from an accredited university in Marketing, Business Administration Hotel and Restaurant Management or related major. iii Experience: ? 3 to 4 years' experience in the sales and marketing or related professional area. ? Expansive knowledge of local and international markets.
