Deadline: 31 October 2019 (5pm) Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons for the above position. Purpose Co-ordinate with the District Water and Sanitation sub-Committees (DWSSCs) in project planning and implementation to strengthen the learning environment in schools and enhance equitable access to education, with special attention to the needs of vulnerable children through enhanced access to clean, safe drinking water and improved sanitation.
Qualifications/experience A minimum of a degree in Public Health, Water and Sanitation or any related social science qualification, with a minimum of three (3) years relevant experience in implementing water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) in rural areas. Experience in implementing WASH in schools interventions is an added advantage. Candidate should also have demonstrated ability to work with local communities, project stakeholders, including Government Officials, Rural District Councils and NGO peers.
